The Betty Brigade Joins Local Pet Care Association
ANN ARBOR, MI - The Betty Brigade, an Ann Arbor-based personal assistance/ concierge company recently joined seventeen charter businesses in the southeast Michigan area to form the Michigan Pet Sitters and Dog Walkers Association. The purpose of the network is to connect pet owners with local professional pet sitters and dog walkers. A website directory has been set up at www.michiganpetsitters.com which helps pet owners find a local pet sitter and also offers guidelines and suggestions for choosing the right pet sitter. The organization is dedicated to the promotion of professional pet care by insured/bonded professionals.
In-home pet sitting provides owners with a unique alternative to boarding facilities or relying on family and neighbors. Pet sitters come to the home and animals are able to keep their regular routines of feeding, walks, medication and one-on-one care. Most pet sitters offer the bonus of home security measures by bringing in mail and newspapers, rotating lighted areas, and other touches that make the house appear occupied while the owner is away. Many pet sitters also offer daily dog walking services for busy professionals who have long work days.
The Betty Brigade currently cares for over 300 pets in and around the Ann Arbor area. The Betty Brigade is a full service personal assistance/concierge business owned and operated in Ann Arbor. Founded in 2003 by Sharon McRill, The Betty Brigade services residential and business clients in organizing their lives in a multitude of ways. The company currently holds membership in the Ann Arbor Area Chamber of Commerce, New Enterprise Forum and the Ann Arbor Area Visitors and Convention Bureau, among others. More information can be found at www.bettybrigade.com. The Betty Brigade is insured and bonded.
