The Betty Brigade was founded by Sharon McRill, a resident of Ann Arbor since 1991. Sharon graduated in 1994 from the University of Michigan and worked in corporate life for eight years before deciding that she could better use her organization skills to help people be happier and more organized. Sharon takes great joy and pleasure in helping others make their lives simpler.

What is a concierge?

While the phenomenon and the term are most common in France as an employee who lives on the premises of an apartment building or a hotel and serves as a general property caretaker, concierges can be seen elsewhere.

Personal concierge services allow clients to "buy back" their precious time so that they can get back to enjoying what means most to them. A personal concierge works on the most basic of premises: people want things done and just don't have the time to do them.

Today there are numerous independent concierge companies. Many of these companies provide errand services and information services for their members. Services include informational requests, setting dinner reservations, making telephone calls, researching travel arrangements and more. This service offering is also known as lifestyle management.
